Hope Works Chicago
Executive Director: Rebekah King
Hope Works is the Community Development Corporation of Living Hope Church, started in 2014 as a resource center and ministry of partnership with those in need in our neighborhood of Woodlawn. We are presently focused on personalized case management and programs which foster economic and employment development. Partnering with Living Hope Church, Hope Works provides affordable housing development, youth after-school programming, and youth summer camp.
Mobility Action Partners Program
The core program of Hope Works is the Mobility Action Partners Program (MAP). Map helps job seekers find, obtain, and keep their jobs. MAP seeks those in the community who are in need of job assistance. Through our MAP program, our Community advocates work one-on-one with our clients to help them find, land, and keep the job they need. On behalf of clients, MAP community advocates create or update a resume, practice for an interview, find available resources, explore job options, and identify job training opportunities.
